Cream & Crumb Schnitz Pie
Ingredients
  • Pastry for one 9-inch single crust pie
  • enough apples to fill the pie shell (I used 1 ½ large gravenstein apples)
  • 1 cup (200g) soft light brown sugar, packed
  • 3 TBS cold butter
  • ⅓ cup (47g) all purpose plain flour
  • ⅔ cup (160ml) cream (sweet, sour or turning)
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon
