  • 2- 15 oz cans of lentils, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup red bell pepper finely diced
  • ¼ cup onion finely diced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup canned tomato sauce
  • 1 to 2 tbsp maple
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Whole Grain Buns/ GF Buns
  • Crispy Onions
  • 1 small sweet onion sliced into thin rings or strips
  • ¼ cup plus 1 tbsp wheat flour or all purpose gf flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs or
  • gluten free bread crumbs
