Ingredients
  • subheading: Brownie:
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • In medium bowl, stir together butter and cocoa till smooth. Stir in flour & sugar. Add egg & vanilla, mixing just till you don’t see any streaks of egg - don’t overmix. Batter will be thick. Pour batter into a 5 x 5 greased dish. Bake at 350* for 20 to 25 minutes. Mine were done at 25 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before frosting, brownies should still be hot.

  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon milk (I used skim)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
