Southern-Style Peach Cobbler

  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup (149g) granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons (43g) butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract, optional
  • 1 ½ cups (177g) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (227g) milk
  • coarse white sparkling sugar and/or cinnamon-sugar, to sprinkle on top
