Sprouted Mung Bean Burger
Ingredients
  • subheading: For the burgers:
  • 1 cup dried mung beans
  • 2 medium potatoes (peeled, cooked, and mashed well)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies like serrano (very finely minced)
  • 1 small onion (finely minced)
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric (optional-- I just like the color, but you can leave it out)
  • 2 tablespoon cilantro (coriander leaves, minced)
  • 2 tablespoon mint leaves (finely minced)
  • Salt to taste
  • subheading: For the Chutney:
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • ¼ cup mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ cup grated coconut
  • 1 green chilli, like serrano or jalapeno, chopped
  • Salt to taste
