Cranberry Pear Sauce
Half the sugar of regular cranberry sauce
Ingredients
  • 1 12 oz bag fresh cranberries
  • ½ c sugar
  • ½ c water
  • 1 pear, diced (no need to peel)
Steps
  1. Combine all ingredients in a good sized sauce pan. Bring to a boil and simmer on med-low, stirring frequently, until cranberries have "popped" and sauce begins to thicken, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar in the fridge. Good for about 2 to 4 weeks.
