Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cubes of frozen caramelized onions
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp oregeno
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 jar of mushrooms, optional
- 8 oz whole wheat spaghetti noodles
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce (24 oz)
- 1 jar of water + ⅛ cup
Steps
- Put Instant Pot on saute.
- Add ground beef and cook until pink is gone. Drain grease.
- Add onions and garlic and cook a couple of minutes more.
- Add basil and oregano.
- Break noodles into thirds and place on top of the meat mixture.
- Add mushrooms.
- Turn IP or pressure cooker to manual, high pressure.
- Add the jar of spaghetti sauce and a jar of water. Make sure the noodles are covered by the sauce and water. Do not stir.
- Secure lid, close steam valve and set to 11 minutes.
- Natural release for 8 minutes then Quick release. Stir and serve.
Notes
- May be doubled if using the 8 quart.
