  • ½ cup of shredded cheese (for top layer)

  • ½ cup of whole whipping cream

  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • ¼ cup of cooked breakfast sausage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
