Pork Cutlets with Caramelised Pear Sauce
While it's more commonly paired with apple, pear is a spectacular match for succulent pork.
Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 20 gram butter
  • 6 x 180g french-trimmed pork cutlets
  • 2 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 3 pears, cut crossways into 1.5cm slices
  • ¾ cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped fresh sage
