Nanny's Crock Pot Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • (I like boneless, skinless…)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • ¾ cup ketchup (low- or no-sugar variety)
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 3 tablespoon minced fresh garlic or less if using dried minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon dried mustard
  • 2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate (optional)
  • chopped green onions for garnish
