  • 1 ounce of unsalted butter
  • 1 ounce of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • ½ cup of dark German beer
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup of shredded smoked cheddar
  • Kosher salt and paprika to taste
