Silky smooth custard. Can be made into a rice custard pudding by adding ¾ to 1 cup cooked white rice. I use medium grain rice.
Ingredients
  • 3 eggs, plus 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 450ml cream or half milk, half cream
  • 60g caster sugar
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, to dust
