Lemon Pound Cake(Atk)

16 tablespoons unsalted butter (2 sticks)

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened for the pan

1 1⁄2 cups cake flour (6 ounces)

1 tablespoon cake flour, for the pan

1 teaspoon baking powder

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

1 1⁄4 cups sugar (8 ¾ ounces)

2 tablespoons lemon zest

2 teaspoons lemons (1 lemon)

4 large eggs, room temperature

1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla

subheading: GLAZE:

1⁄2 cup sugar (3 ½ ounces)

1⁄4 cup lemon juice (2 lemons)
