- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- icing from the cinnamon roll tubes
- subheading: BROWN SUGAR PECAN TOPPING (SEE VARIATIONS):
- 1 ½ cups pecans, chopped
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup packed light brown sugar (½ cup for less sweet)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
