Dal Bukhara/Instant Pot Dal Bukhara
Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Black whole lentils/Sabut Kali urad dal
  • 4 Cups Water to cook the lentils
  • 1 Cup Tomato sauce (please note that in USA sauce is different use tomato puree for similar effect in India)
  • 2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 4 Tbsp Butter/Vegan Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil
  • ¼ Cup Heavy Cream /Coconut Milk for Vegan Alternative.
