Fumi worked at the Sears coffee shop after retiring from school cafeteria work. her biscuits and cornbread always sold out.
Ingredients
- 2c bisquik
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c butter, melted
- 1 c milk
- 2 tbsp cornmeal
Steps
- Sift dry ingredients together. melt butter, beat with eggs and milk. pour into greased 9"square pan.
- bake at 375 for 30 min. or toothpick test.
