Flax and Sunflower Seed Bread
2 cups of warm water with 6 tbsp of honey dissolved in it. then sprinkle 2 1/4 tsp of yeast and let proof for 10 minutes. Then add 1/4 cup of oil and 1 1/2 tsp salt. Then all your flour (I used about 5 cups, half whole wheat and half white) and seeds. I also added hemp hearts which are high in omega 6 and omega 3 fats. Then I let rise in a oiled bowl for 1 hour, punch down and divide into 2 loaves then let rise again for 45 min. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes

  • 1 ⅓ cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 ½ cups bread flour
  • 1 ⅓ cups whole wheat bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • ½ cup flax seeds
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
