  • 4 scallions, white, pale green, and dark green parts separated, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. white pepper
  • ¼ tsp. MSG
  • ⅓ c. frozen peas
  • 1 tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into pieces
