Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients
  • 4 good sized pork chops
  • 1 large can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Lemon pepper, or any seasoning you like
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2 TBS cold water
Steps
  1. Season the pork chops, then sear
  2. Sear the pork chops on all sides in olive oil. Take the pork chops out. Deglaze the pot with beef broth. Add the cream of mushroom soup to broth and stir until mixed well. Add the pork chops back to the pot. PC on high for 18 minutes, NPR 10 minutes. Remove the pork chops from the pot. Make a slurry with the corn starch and cold water, and mix into the mushroom gravy. Add the pork chops back into the pot until you are ready to serve.
  3. I serve this with rice, but it would be good with mashed potatoes also.
