Savory Chicken & Corn Spoon Bread
Ingredients
  • 2 cups hot milk
  • 3 Tbsp butter - melted
  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup frozen corn - thawed
  • 2 eggs - beaten
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 green onion - chopped
  • 1 package (6oz) Stove Top Cornbread Stuffing Mix
Steps
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Add melted butter to the milk - allow time for mixture to cool and then mix in beaten eggs.
  3. Mix in all the remaining ingredients and allow time for the cornbread mixture to absorb all the liquid.
  4. Place in 1-½ quart casserole.
  5. Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
