Sticky Ginger Cashew Tofu
This Sticky Ginger Cashew Tofu is surprising easy to make and so delicious! The perfect recipe for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
  • 1 (16 oz) package super firm tofu, or extra firm tofu that has been pressed
  • 1 tablespoon tamari, or soy sauce
  • 1 ½ teaspoons corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ cup raw, unsalted cashews
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • Optional serving ideas:  rice, steamed vegetables, green onion, cilantro, quinoa
  • subheading: Ginger Sauce:
  • ¼ cup tamari, or soy sauce
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • ¾ tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
