Ingredients
  • Sheephead fish
  • ginger, garlic, green onions, chilli peppers
  • rice wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, cooking oil, and black pepper
Steps
  1. -first clean the fish, inside and out, remove gills, make slits if you want on the side.
  2. -heat up water in a wok to steam the fish.
  3. -lay out ginger (julienned), garlic (minced), and sprinkle black pepper on top, then 1 to 2 tbsp rice wine and soy sauce over the fish in a plate
  4. -steam the fish for 10 minutes and it's done.
  5. -while steaming, heat up oil until frying temperature or begins vaporizing
  6. -lay out julienned green onion over the fully steamed fish (you can get them to curl up if you soak them in cold water for an hour or so, or just do it at the very beginning). add some julienned chilli peppers too.
  7. -drizzle the hot oil over the fish and hear the green onion sizzle! top with some sesame oil.
