Ginger & Dark Chocolate Hot Cross Loaf*
Ingredients
  • 125ml milk, warmed
  • 1⁄3 cup Greek style yoghurt, at room temp
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbs maple syrup
  • 60g butter, melted
  • 2 cups plain flour (or gluten-free flour if required)
  • 1 tablespoon xanthum gum
  • 21⁄2 tsp active dried yeast
  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 75g 70% dark chocolate chips
  • 75g sultanas
  • 85g crystallised ginger, roughly chopped

  • 30g plain flour (or gluten-free if required)
  • 1 tbs cacao powder
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbs hot water
  • subheading: GLAZE:
  • 1 tbs maple syrup
