Easy Homemade Seitan Stir-Fry
Ingredients

  • 1 cup vital wheat gluten
  • 1 tsp dry thyme
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp fennel seeds, optional
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp tahini or natural peanut butter
  • ¾ cup vegetable broth
  • subheading: Stir fry:
  • 1 to 2 tbsp avocado oil or other neutral oil
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, roughly chopped
  • 1 small yellow onion, roughly chopped
  • subheading: STIR-FRY SAUCE:
  • ¼ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic chili sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp corn starch
