Banana Pudding
When it comes to Southern desserts, banana pudding is hard to top. It’s creamy, rich, and incredibly decadent. Prepare this delicious recipe for your family or friends

Ingredients
  • 2 cans (12 oz each) evaporated milk
  •  
  • 1 cup sugar
  •  
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  •  
  • 3 medium bananas, sliced
  •  
  • 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers
Steps
  1. Combine milk, sugar, and cornstarch in a pot and cook over medium heat.
  2. Stir constantly until the mixture begins to thicken.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for about a minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Line the bottom of a baking dish with vanilla wafers.
  6. Add a layer of bananas, then add another layer of wafers.
  7. Slowly and evenly pour half of the milk mixture into the baking dish.
  8. Add another layer of bananas, then another layer of wafers.
  9. Slowly and evenly pour the rest of the milk mixture into the baking dish.
  10. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  11. Serve with whipped cream and enjoy!
