Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Pot of boil water
  • ½ lemon, cut in half
  • white fish (like cod), cut in 2 inch squares
  • subheading: Topping options:
  • Lemon
  • Lemon Pepper
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Melted butter (w/garlic if you want)
Steps
  1. Using a good size pot (to prevent boil over), bring water to boil.
  2. Place ½ lemon (cut half into half) into boiling water. Note: Lemon is required for the right texture.
  3. Drop fish cubes into boiling water, don't stir/touch them. Turn heat down if needed to prevent it from boiling over.
  4. When they start floating to top, they are done. Remove with a slotted spoon.
  5. Sprinkle seasonings you like over top and dip fish pieces into melted butter.
