Cranberry Pecan Oatmeal Cookies

I'm a university professor, a writer, a wife, and a mom. Besides cooking, i enjoy watching baseball, basketball, college football, movies, and TV. I also love to travel. The only recipes I include here are ones I’ve tried and we’ve liked enough to make again—the keepers. Many have my own notes and tweaks in addition to links to the original source.

Very tasty. Makes quite a few (I got 4.5 dozen).

1 cup butter 2 sticks, softened

1 cup brown sugar firmly packed

½ cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1½ cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp salt

3 cups uncooked oats

1 cup fresh cranberries chopped into small pieces (I used fresh, but dried cranberries would work, too)

1 cup pecans chopped

1 cup white chocolate chips ( I used semi-sweet)
