Ingredients
  • flat pan covered in foil with the shiny side up (I used a 9×9 baking pan)
  • boiling water: 1 cup
  • vinegar: ½ cup
  • baking soda: 1 tablespoon
  • salt: 1 tablespoon

  • Here’s the full tutorial. Scroll down for the step by step instructions.
  • Don’t worry, it’s not complicated. If I can do it, you can too.

  • Read Before You Start!: Gather your ingredients and line your pan with a sheet of foil (shiny side up). Lay out your dirty jewelry and have each part of the jewelry touch the foil. Not sure why this is important, but apparently it is. (Note: I cleaned my silver, 14k white gold and even a diamond ring without any problems. I don’t recommend using this cleaner on stones like opals and pearls. Not sure what the reaction would be to these types of natural stones.)
