Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp chili pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Rinse and drain chickpeas well. Spread out on a tea towel or several layers of paper towels to dry.
- In a small bowl, combine the Garam Masala, sea salt, and chili pepper.
- Spread prepared chickpeas on a baking sheet, lined with parchment or tin foil.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over all the chickpeas. Toss gently so that some of the seasoning gets on everything.
- Roast in oven for 30 to 40 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes or so.
- Turn off oven, open the door a crack, and allow chickpeas to continue drying in the oven.
Notes
- This is a spicy twist on the cinnamon roasted chickpeas.
