Chinese Steamed Buns (Mauna Pua Bao)
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water, about 110 degrees (I use my wrist for gauging)
  • 1 Tbl. sugar
  • 2 Tbl. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • About 2 ¾ cup whole wheat flour or white flour
  • Mushroom-Cashew filling (recipe follows)
  • 1 Tbl. margarine (for baked buns)
