  • ½ cup raw cashews
  • 3 cups almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 2 tbsp flax meal
  • 2 tbsp aquafaba (chickpea brine, optional)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • subheading: For the crunchy walnut topping:
  • 1 cup walnuts (coarsely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter
  • ½ cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
