  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1.5 tsp Chinese Five Spice, divided (1 tsp and ½ tsp)
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cooking sherry
  • ¼ cup + 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce, divided (¼ cup and 1 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • ½ tbsp crushed ginger
  • 1 tsp white Miso paste
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp of water for slurry
