Ingredients
  • 2 apples (peeled, cored, cut up)
  • ½ small onion (cut into pieces)
  • 2 sprigs fresh parsley
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • salt
  • 1½ c. herb-seasoned stuffing cubes
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 4-lb. striped bass ( dressed)
  • cold water
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Put apples, onion, & parsley in blender container.
  3. Cover with cold water & blend till chopped; drain.
  4. Pour apple mixture into saucepan; add 1-tbsp. butter, & ½-tsp. salt.
  5. Simmer 10-mins.; then toss with stuffing cubes.
  6. Melt remaining butter; then stir in lemon juice.
  7. Brush fish cavity with lemon-butter; then salt lightly.
  8. Spoon stuffing into cavity.
  9. Place fish in baking dish & brush with lemon-butter.
  10. Cover (If using aluminum foil, have shiny side facing fish.) & bake 50 to 60 mins.
