Big Mac in a Bowl
Ingredients
  • 5 oz of 98 to 99% Fat Free Ground Turkey (cooked weight) (5/7 lean)
  • 1.14 oz of Moderate-Fat Shredded Cheese (2/7 lean)Moderate fat cheese is any cheese that has 2.0 to 6.0 grams of fat per oz. 28g is 1 oz
  • 1 Dill Pickle Spear Diced (½ snack)
  • 2T Light Wishbone Thousand Island Dressing (1 fat) note other dressing maybe used but would need to meet healthy fat required and the serving size could vary as a result.
  • 2 Cups of Shredded Lettuce (2 Greens)
  • ½ Cup Tomatoes Diced (1 Green)........
  • Note* To complete the meal for this, you would still need .42 fat to properly complete your day. And you would still have the allowance for 3 condiments and½ snack.

  • Remember Fat is not an option but the condiments and snack are. Brown Ground Meat..Put on plate, Top with Cheese, Lettuce, Pickle, and Tomato..Toss with Dressing.. If you wanted to use up that other fat.. you could add another Tablespoon to your dressing (just make it a tad under because you are not quite at .50). Toss everything together and enjoy....or leave it in layers.. your choice.. another way would be to actually make a burger and put it on the bed of lettuce with all the toppings.. this is one of those recipes where unlike McDonalds, you can have it "YOUR WAY"...LOL Enjoy.

  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (Best or Hellmans)
  • ¼ cup ketchup (Heinz)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish (Heinz)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Thai sweet chili sauce or 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
