Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • Kosher salt
  • ½ c. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb. total)
  • ¾ tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 heads romaine lettuce, thinly sliced (about 8 c.)
  • 2 small or 1 large avocado, halved, thinly sliced
  • 1 (12-oz.) container mini mozzarella balls, drained, halved or quartered if large
  • 1 c. cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • ½ c. packed fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
