Jim's Lemon Electrolyte Water
Ingredients
  • Ingredients;
  •
  • 3 organic lemons
  • 3 tablespoons organic extra-virgin coconut oil
  • 1 organic pear or apple
  • 2 teaspoons Celtic Sea Salt
  • 6 cups filtered or spring water
  • 6 tablespoons raw honey
  •
Steps
  1. Instructions;
  2. Peel off the yellow skin of the lemons, but leave the white pith intact since it’s loaded with antioxidants. Slice each lemon into two or three pieces to make them easier to blend. While you’re at it, dig out any seeds you see. It’s ok if you don’t get them all.
  3. Remove the core of the pear or apple and chop it up.
  4. Blend all ingredients for 1 to 2 minutes. If the texture is too chunky for you, strain to remove some pulp but the pulp is where some of the goods are.. Refrigerate and serve in a glass over ice.
  5. I've not tried any of these variations of Electrolyte Lemonade but, if you use Brazil nut milk or almond milk as a base instead of water and add a frozen banana (full of potassium, another key electrolyte) for a mineral-replenishing smoothie & blend them.
  6. I've read if you add a TBS of goji berries it makes pink lemonade.
  7. If you add a TBSP of your favorite green powder for a green lemonade that's packed with even more vitamins.
  8. Speaking of green, I know I've put either a lime and/or kale in it before too getting more adventurous each time I make it given is a process nonetheless de-seeding the lemons, peeling them, etc.
