  • One fourth of a teaspoon of salt
  • One teaspoon of vegetable bouillon
  • Eight cups of water
  • One tablespoon of salt
  • One teaspoon of cumin seeds
  • One teaspoon of coriander seeds
  • One teaspoon of black pepper
  • Cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, cardamom, and cloves
  • Hot peppers
  • Saffron or sazon (for seasoning)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Half a cup of raisins (optional)
