Braised Lamb Korma with Potato and Coriander
Ingredients
  • 1.5kg lamb shoulder (off the bone), fat trimmed, cut into 4cm pieces
  • 2 tbs sunflower oil
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 5cm piece ginger, peeled, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 dried small red chillies
  • 1 cup (280g) thick Greek-style yoghurt
  • ⅔ cup (165ml) chicken stock
  • 250g sour cream
  • 500g (about 4) Dutch cream potatoes, peeled, cut into 3cm pieces
  • Coriander and naan bread, to serve
