Ingredients
- Chocolate cake mix (pudding/Red Devil)
- 3 eggs (per box)
- Oil (per box)
- Water (per box)
- Cajeta
- FLAN
- 4 eggs
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 to 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup milk
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Spray ring mold with PAM
- Cover bottom with cajeta (about ¼ cup). (OR, make caramel by melting sugar)
- Beat cake mix according to packet instructions.
- Blend flan ingredients.
- Pour cake mix on mold.
- Slowly pour flan mixture on top of the cake mix, going around the ring.
- Cover with foil
- Set mold in crockware/ceramic baking dish filled with water to level of flan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Let cool, transfer to fridge. Flip over serving platter when ready to eat.
