Ingredients
  • Chocolate cake mix (pudding/Red Devil)
  • 3 eggs (per box)
  • Oil (per box)
  • Water (per box)
  • Cajeta
  • FLAN
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 to 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Spray ring mold with PAM
  3. Cover bottom with cajeta (about ¼ cup). (OR, make caramel by melting sugar)
  4. Beat cake mix according to packet instructions.
  5. Blend flan ingredients.
  6. Pour cake mix on mold.
  7. Slowly pour flan mixture on top of the cake mix, going around the ring.
  8. Cover with foil
  9. Set mold in crockware/ceramic baking dish filled with water to level of flan.
  10. Bake for 1 hour.
  11. Let cool, transfer to fridge. Flip over serving platter when ready to eat.
