Tasty Communion Bread
Ingredients
  • 4 c. OR 500g sifted flour ( I don’t sift)
  • 4 to 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 t. salt
  • 10 T butter
  • 12 T cream (¾ cup)
Steps
  1. (I pulse the dry ingredients in food processor, add butter, then cream. Add more cream until the dough forms.)
  2. Mix dry ingredients; cut in butter.
  3. Stir in cream and add water until a dough forms. (Or just use more cream.)
  4. Roll dough out on a baking sheet until about ¼ inch thick.
  5. Bake at 250% for about 45 minutes or until done.
  6. (This last may vary with the oven. If still doughy in the middle I turn off the oven and let rest for another hour inside the hot oven,)
