Perfect Biscuit & Sausage Gravy
Ingredients
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • About 1 ¼ cup buttermilk (or a little less, all in preference)
  • ½ stick salted butter
  • ½ stick unsalted
  • (I really like the taste the half and half gives) (If just use either or, add a little more salt with unsalted)
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Kneed in a little more flour and cut with whatever you have (I used a coffee cup)
  • bake 17 to 20 minutes
  • subheading: If interested in the sausage gravy:
  • I used about ⅔ pack of sausage
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups water
  • salt and lots of pepper to taste
