  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 250ml/1 cup heavy cream
  • 1½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • subheading: For the trifle:
  • 7 to 8 ginger cookies crumbled
  • 250ml/1 cup double/heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp icing/powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
