  • 1 2.5 pound spaghetti squash, cut in half and seeded
  • 1 ½ cup 1% milk
  • ¼ cup light cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 jalapeños, chopped and seeded
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, part-skim
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, part-skim
  • ⅓ cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeños
  • Liberal dashes of salt and pepper
