I found this recipe written on one of my mother-in-law's index cards.
Ingredients
- 1 large box raspberry gelatin powder
- 2 c. water
- #2 can applesauce
- 1 small carton sour cream
- 1 large package miniature marshmallows
- 1 package (size unknown) frozen raspberries
Steps
- Mix marshmallows with sour cream, the day before serving salad & let stand in refrigerator overnight.
- Thaw raspberries.
- Mix together gelatin, boiling water, applesauce, & raspberries. Pour into mold or rectangular pan; let set.
- Prior to serving, whip marshmallow mixture.
- Unmold salad or cut into squares; then top with marshmallow mixture.
