Instant Pot Jasmine Rice
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
  • 1 cup water or broth
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon fine sea salt/table salt (optional)
Steps
  1. Rinse rice under cold water by gently scrubbing the rice with your fingertips in a circling motion until water runs clear.
  2. Drain well
  3. Add rice and water (broth) to pot.
  4. Close the lid and set seal.
  5. Set manual to 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Natural release for 10 minutes.
  7. Release the remaining pressure, then open the lid quickly.
  8. Optional Seasoning: Add salt to the rice for seasoning.
  9. Fluff & Serve: Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
Notes
  • If you use the rice measuring cup that came with the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker to measure the rice, remember to use the same measuring cup to measure the water.
  • If wanting more than 1 cup, ratio is 1 to 1.  1 cup rice to 1 cup water (broth).
  • If you like your rice a bit sticky, don't rinse it.
