Ingredients

  • 3 heaping tablespoons of chicken base* Better than Bouillon is my favorite!
  • 5 lbs. of red potatoes, peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup finely diced onion
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground white pepper (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • (2) 8 oz. bricks of cream cheese
  • 6 to 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • green onion (optional)
  • note: Instead of water and chicken base, you can use 10 cups of chicken broth.
