Browned butter and chocolate blondies
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup browned butter
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1¼ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • subheading: For the topping:
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbs sugar
Steps
  1. Brown butter on the stove
  2. Mix butter and brown sugar and let sit for a minute
  3. Add vanilla and pumpkin puree
  4. Add egg and beat
  5. In a separate bowl add flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon
  6. Stir. Add chocolate chips and mix
  7. Add dry mix to wet mix and fold together just until combined
  8. Grease an 8x8 pan and line with parchment paper over grease
  9. Pour mix into pan and spread evenly
  10. Mix up topping in separate bowl and shake over bars
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes
