Bbq Chickpea Sliders with Pineapple Slaw
Ingredients
  • 15 ounces canned chickpeas , rinsed and drained (1 can)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • sea salt , to taste
  • 12 slider buns , gluten-free if needed
  • 1 cup Pineapple Slaw (see recipe below)
  • Roasted sunflower seeds , for serving (optional)

  • ½ ripe avocado , mashed
  • ⅓ cup crushed pineapple , drained
  • 2 tablespoon cilantro leaves , torn

  • 1 lime , juiced

  • 2 cups purple cabbage , shredded
  • sea salt and pepper , to taste
