  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 cup canned tomato puree
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 pound cubed paneer in ½-inch cubes
  • ½ cup heavy cream see Note
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons dried fenugreek leaves optional
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
