Smokehouse Maple Chicken

Ingredients
  • 5 chicken leg quarters, cut down into legs and thighs
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick Smokehouse Maple seasoning
  • Black pepper
  • Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning
Steps
  1. Put chicken in a gallon Ziploc bag.
  2. Add Smokehouse Maple seasoning, then black pepper & Cajun seasoning to taste.
  3. Close the ziplock bag and toss it so all the chicken gets coated.
  4. Marinate for 4 to 6 hours in fridge, overnight if you can.
  5. Smoke for an hour over indirect heat of a wood fire.
  6. Put in a large metal bowl and toss with butter.
  7. Put it back over indirect heat of wood fire for another hour.
Notes
  • We don't use charcoal. Just untreated firewood.
